This week we discussed 10 new, fun and fabulous ways to install Subway glass tile. Our team has searched through our archives to bring you this special edition of our “Top Ten Subway Installations.â€
Beginning our countdown at number 10 and representing one of the Pantone colors of the year is our 1X3 INCH ROBINS EGG BLUE GLASS SUBWAY TILE. This serenity blue Subway tile gives this stunning bathroom design a flawless finish. Installed in a running-bond layout, its soothing blue is perfect against the quartz countertop and shower accents. Pair this glossy, calming blue glass tile with a white grout for a visually pleasing and uniform look.
Number 9 in our countdown goes to this contemporary kitchen with a pop of color that you can't help but love. This stacked 1 x 3-inch Subway glass tile mixes our BLACK and RED glossy bijou tiles in a geometric design with a pleasing aesthetic. This simple yet stylish design certainly gets us thinking outside the box—or, rather, outside the rectangle.
Number 8 in our countdown proves that unique style can also be eco-friendly! Textured WHITE RECYCLED IRIDESCENT GLASS TILE really take this master bathroom to a new level. Installed in a Flemish Bond layout, 1 x 2-inch subway glass tiles are alternated with 1-inch square tiles to add more drama and depth to this unique design.
Hitting our number 7 spot is this stunning contemporary kitchen. This rain-inspired glass tile backsplash is made by hand in our studio, and can be customized to ANY color scheme you desire. Vertical installation of this gradient helps to capture the true essence of raindrops falling down one by one. This mix consists of 5 different glass tiles, beginning with white and transitioning down through light blue to darker blue. Strategic placement of stainless steel and green glass tiles really enhances the dramatic effect of the backsplash, and the glossy and metal finishes reflect light just as giant raindrops would.
Coming in at number 6 is a Susan Jablon Original glass tile design that you may have seen featured on the set of FOX TV's Hell's Kitchen. This restaurant is on fire with the hot reds, yellows and oranges of DANCING FLAMES glass tile. A random placement of stainless steel tile gives this roaring blend a unique aesthetic.
