Earlier this week, we discussed our etching process and showed how we can transform any of our glossy glass tiles into tiles with a frosted (matte) finish. In honor of these unique tiles we have created this Top Ten Susan Jablon Frosted Glass Tile countdown to showcase some of our favorite ways that customers have used them in their installations.
Number 10
We are starting this week’s countdown with a tie! Coming in at number 10 are two kitchens that have been inspired by our Tuxedo Glass Tile line. These backsplash designs give you a bold statement of color enhanced by two different textures. These timeless tile designs bring both spaces to life with their unique interplay of light and texture. The glossy glass tiles reflect the light while the frosted (matte) tiles absorb it, resulting in an attractive and pleasing finish.

Number 9
The master of all timeless kitchen backsplashes is the white tile. Thanks to Susan Jablon, white backsplash tile need not mean ordinary or boring. Coming in at number 9 is a kitchen design that will never go out of style. This white linear glass tile mixes different size tiles in both glossy and frosted (matte) finishes for a clean and elegant kitchen design.

Number 8
Like the last kitchen, backsplash number 8 this week is a linear tile design but, instead of sticking to white, this kitchen sets a serene mood with a cool mix of blues and greens. Lime green, retro mint, and light celery glass tile are blended together with a touch of robin's egg blue. As if the varying shapes and colors were not enough, the addition of frosted (matte) glass tiles among the glossy tiles makes this backsplash a perfect statement piece for the home.

Number 7
Next on our countdown is a warm and homey Modern Farmhouse-style kitchen. Mint green cabinets, a beautiful hardwood floor, and a light countertop all create an inviting vibe, but of course our favorite part is the backplash. With a focused attention to detail, this customer wanted a backsplash design that would complete this look and add a lot of extra character. This backsplash design features a beautiful mix of our Matte (frosted) White Cloud Glass Tile and our Transparent Icy White Glass Tile, giving the background a multi-dimensional look. The green design on the backsplash also uses both frosted (matte) and glossy finishes so that it pops right out of the wall. Look close and you will see that each 2-inch Frosted (Matte) Green Glass Tile is surrounded by four 1-inch Glossy Transparent Green Glass Tiles, and each 2-inch Glossy Transparent Green Glass Tile is surrounded by 1-inch Frosted (Matte) Green Glass Tiles. We can make this custom design full of character for you in any color, in different shapes, and even in different patterns contact us today with any questions!

Number 6
We end today's countdown with a contemporary kitchen design that carries a hint of mystery. Designer Robert Legere and his team created a stunning open-concept kitchen design with a spacious layout. Basing the kitchen around the dark charcoal cabinets that the homeowners loved, the rest of the kitchen needed to balance out the space. This is where our Susan Jablon Frosted Mirror Glass Tile made its premiere. Frosted (Matte) silver mirror glass tile gave a more subtle reflective surface, and the addition of occasional and randomly placed regular silver mirror tiles gave the kitchen a special sparkle in the light. Remember: we can frost any of our tile, including our mirror tile, in any color! We also Custom Cut Mirror to any size and can frost that as well! Contact us with any questions!
