THE ORGANiKS PROCESS
The following series of pictures tells the story of the ORGANiKS recycled glass to gorgeous tile process:
1. Damaged car windshields are sorted by hue. They are then smashed into mountains of broken glass to be recycled.
2. The mountains of glass shards are pulverized into glass powder.
3. The glass powder is formed into mosaic tile shapes and put through a refiring process, where it is remade into hundreds of colors and arrays of gorgeous recycled glass mosaic tile.
