The exterior of the glass is frosted. The back of the tile is sealed so you do not see through the tile itself. Bijou 2” Beach (frosted) glass is a hand cut float glass. It is then hand painted with china colorant on the back of the glass, which is then kiln fired. This gives this glass tile an exterior and interior surface rating. Kiln firing gives the glass tile edges a softly slumped and rounded edge.
